No, I don't think so. From everything I have heard of the wrestlers with them talking to people outside of the arena, they have gone mainly because they wanted to show support for the troops in the ways they can. Not everyone could go, even if they wanted to, with only a 2 hour show to put together. The fact that you got people from Raw, Smackdown, and ECW is an indication that they got volunteers. Besides, I remember when JBL came up with the idea, several years ago. It was a good idea then, and it still is.

Good show tonight... I love the divas in the desert.

No way. It was the wrestlers choice to go to Iraq. The Undertaker was there but Kane wasn't. Rated RKO was there but DX wasn't. Bobby Lasley was there but RVD wasn't. It's something that Vince and the WWE wanted to give back to the troops.

Well obviously they are going to get some backstage heat for not going. I dont see what the big deal is if they dont go. I mean not every superstar wants to spend days in iraq and spend 21 hours on a plane. Also there is danger in going.

No but in all honesty they should all have gone just to give some respect to all of our men and women figthing over there. RVD is an entertainer and his job is to entertain. He makes big $$$ for his job. Betcha when they go over to Amsterdam he's the first one to sign up.

It's more of a moral obligation, no one is said to be "forced", but if you refuse and your name isn't Randy Orton, Triple H or Undertaker you're in trouble just like RVD is right now.
