How would I present myself to get new business accounts? I need them quickly as I would like to change from residences to businesses. Should I call? Leave business cards? Any ideas?

You must have contact with those small offices first. If you can do the job well, I believe there will be more customer for you as advertisment by mouth is better than others in a lot of ways

Yes, I would definitely leave business cards. If you need them quickly, you might want to try this.........Print off some business flyers and pass them out to businesses in and around your targeted area. If you do this in person rather than mailing, you may actually have better luck & this is quicker than mailing, you can do this today. Attach you business card to the flyer and/or present a business card along with the flyer. Maybe initially you could offer some kind of discounted rate or one-time free cleaning. People usually like this.

I advertised in our Penny Saver paper & the phone was ringing off the hook. It was expensive but I didn't have to run the ad for very long, I was booked up in no time.

Good luck to you.
