Where do those tv game shows get their money to give away. I know some is made from advertisers paying them to advertise during their comercials, right? But shows that give away millions, where do they come up with the money?

The game show prize cash comes from the studio hosting the show. Part of it comes from direct advertiser/sponsor payments and some comes from revenues generated by subsidaries of that particular studio. For example: Disney/ABC and I believe (but may be mistaken) NBC and Universal Studios.

In any case, the major TV networks are boosting in their profits and thus comes the Super Game Show--complete w/ eye popping cash prizes.

Wow...I was thinking the same exact thing when I was watching the people deliver the money to a guy on Deal or No Deal.
But yea I have no idea.

The shows get all the money from their sponsors no matter the amount.
