in the last five to ten seconds of Eclipse off of Dark Side of the Moon, there is like a violin or something playing. I think its only on the right side of the stereo. it sounds like corny news channel theme song. I heard after i edited it in Audacity. Can some one tell me if this is actually one there????

It IS really on there. Also, it is laid in on the right side of the track. It is not a really a theme; but it is from a "60 Minutes" episode. The last story was about "Pink Floyd." They discussed how PF was the first successful Rock "Act" that incorporated large orchestras in their music. It also spoke of bands that tried, most not with the same results as PF, to use this technique.

Do you mean after the line "...sun is eclipsed by the moon" or the spoken "there is no dark side..."? After the spoken line, there is some faint studio noise as the bass drum-heartbeat fades. I don't hear any violin. I listened to each channel at jet-engine levels, and still just don't hear it.
