Not a huge Van alen fan, but do love a lot of their stuff. I was wondering if they ever did "I Can't Drive 55" or any of Sammy's pre-Halen solo stuff live at any shows, or is they ever performed any Extreme songs when Gary Cherone was in the band?

I never saw them with Gary Cherone (even though i liked extreme) I did see them live with Sammy and YES they did Sammy songs. Of course they could do ANY Sammy song they wanted since he owns them. They did Eagles Fly and I Cant Drive (55). I think they may have done three lock box as well but i can't remember. btw . .Sammy was the best but David is a very close second. They were a better band with Sammy and I like more Van Hagar Songs than Van Halen songs, However . . .My favorite Van Halen song is one with David Lee Roth.

I've seen them in concert three times, and they did do some Sammy Hagar stuff. The only thing I can remember them doing as a whole group was I Can't Drive 55. SAmmy did Where Eagles Fly as a solo, on an acoustic guitar.

bounce Panama warm For instructor David Lee Roth each and every of ways - whilst he left, it in fact grew to grow to be Sammy Hagar doing lead vocals with Van Halen as his back-up singers - he replaced into not a compliment to something of the band, he overpowered them.

Yes they did. Back in '86 during their "5150" tour, I saw them do killer versions of "I Can't Drive 55", "There's Only One Way To Rock" (w/ Eddie's killer guitar input) and an awesome VanHalen/Sammy Hagar version of "Heavy Metal".

I'm not aware of any VanHalen/Extreme music work w/ Cherone.
