Not much I don't think. Maybe given the inexperience of the terrorists they would of had a harder time seeing and hitting their targets. Other than that Rain has little effect on fires that large and hot. It would of held down the dust cloud some.

If it were raining, the experts (people who study airplane crashes) would have probably said that it was an accident instead of a terrorist attack at first.
As for the fires, they probably would not have been stopped at all.
If it were raining, the attack would have been moved to a latter date or have to wait until the next year for the same date for the attack.

had someone dropped a tooth pick it could change the course of the entire world. cause and effect little thigns lead to big thigns big thigns lead to change of circumstances and the whole world. but if the situation happened the same the water could not of put out a fire that hot or put out jet fuel. try and put out a liquid fire with a sprinkler.. it dont work

Water on the walls of the towers would have made the fuel travel down the walls faster, thus spreading the fire faster. Most likely, somewhat more destruction.

The pilots of those planes were armatures and could not have operated them IFR.

no use even it was raining, the collapes of the building is from the explosion of the basement of the building...not from the plane.
