What linking cable is needed to connect the Gameboy Advance SP with the old Gameboy Color?
Is it the regular GBA linking cable, or a special one?

I THINK you need the combination one because the two outputs for the GBA and GBC are different. Don't quote me on this because I'm not 100% sure.

the purple game boy color cable is needed i know this because i used to trade my pokemon back & forth with the gba & gbc and i still have the purple cable and in the middle of the cable it says pelican i don't have my purple game boy color anymore it broke i've had it since 94. the gba sp cable link won't work with a gba & gbc.
