you do know wood is a component of a house and also according to the biology/chemistry laws wood comes from trees and so you can say that a tree is alive which it is and so anything that was alive at any point in time has Carbon in it. So you can just use that. Also some houses are made up of steel and other metals, because of the skrews that are used in it or ribits if it is a concrete building. paint is some thing else. Houses in the early times had Lead (Pb) but ot many of them today have it so i guess that is a wrong answer. Plastic is another thing that is in houses. Rubber is a component in electrical wiring. fiberglass is also used. But boy is it ichy. (ouch)

Ceramic floor, counter, and roof tiles are made of clay as is older sewer pipe and toilets and basins. Carpets are made of wool, cotton, nylon and a number of other fiber materials including grass. Counters and some windows and outdoor siding are made of plastic as are PVC drain pipes and gutters.
