cause it all falls with when you ovulate and you don't ovulate "14 days after the start of your period" but you do ovulate 12-14 days before every single period unless you are annovulatory (you didn't ovulate) in which case your periods are seriously irregular. If you just vary from 28-32 day cycles with one or two longer or shorter than that. Irregular periods can go months between periods.
