When I was little, Mom would take us to a movie and for chineese food... then watch TV till midnight. Nothing that exciting maybe for the 18 y/o but at 10 I had a great time doing that every year.

I remember my favorite New Year's Eve and I was only 11...my family all came together and popped popcorn and played cards. We made cookies and punch and all sat around telling our resolutions for the upcoming year. It was a fun and safe holiday because we all stayed in and enjoyed being a family. When it was time for the ball to drop we all snuggled up and watched it and of course gave each other a kiss. It was a wonderful moment that I will forever keep in my heart.

That's a tough one, there's such an age difference. But
I'm sure you can figure out a way that everyone will have fun and enjoy celebrating the New Year together, find something you all have in common and have a Happy New Year !!!

Bring out the old home movies, old photo albums, your school year books, baby books, wedding albums, anything like that. Kids love them and it's a great way to remember the past as you begin a new year.
