Hcg levels are monitored in very early pregnancy before the physical feelings of pregnancy have a chance manifest. Unfortunately, it's much harder to let go of the feelings, especially if you've really longed to be pregnant. Once the miscarriage is complete, it's easier to move on, especially once you start trying again.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

"Unless there has been a laboratory error, falling hCG levels always mean a nonviable pregnancy. It doesn't matter if the hCG is rising; if it doesn't hit the 66 percent increase by 48 hours, the prospects are grim."

At what stage in your pegnancy are you? i do know that at certain stages it can drop, espically after the 12-14 weeks mark, go back to your dr and get them to do another test say 48 hours after your last one was taken if it is falling evn more then i am afraid it sounds like a miscarridge, but if it remains then it may not be such a horrible outcome, but hey! i am not a dr so please please please go back and sort it out.

I so hope and pray for you that everything will be ok.
