Ok my sister loves taking pictures of people and kids and all and she's really good at it. She knows how to set the background. What colors look good on ya and the whole yards. And she has gotten to the point that she has her camera where ever she goes. And takes pictures of everything and everyone. Well people realy like the pictures and everyone ask her to take pictures for them of whatever. How much should she charge??? Or how can she make a priceing chart?????

look at all the competition, walmart, olen mills, private photographers, etc. get their prices then figure out a good base price structure to start with.

if people seemed turned off...lower the prices. if people are impressed and don't mention the price...then slowly raise it.

When I had a custom paint shop I did just this. At first I started out at $195 a bumper, then $225, 250, 275, 325, 375...not till 450 did anyone start to mention something. So I put my price at $425.

Many times people will pay more for something if they feel that they are actually "getting something" for their money. Its not always about who's the cheapest.

I think that its great that she loves to take pictures, and I would make a pricing chart and maybe have several copies made and then she can give it to people or even put it up in stores if they will let here.
