I'm so sorry for your loss. This must be a very blue Christmas for you.
Having a miscarriage or stillbirth does not usually affect your chances of having a healthy baby in the future. The exception to this would be if you baby's death was caused by a genetic issue that could be passed on to future children. (This is very rare and usually not the case.) Talk to your Ob/Gyn about what happened and if you need to be concerned.
I hope after your body and heart have had a chance to heal, you'll be blessed with a healthy little one.

I am so sorry for your loss. My best friend had 2 stillborn babies (her cervix would open early) she was devastated but she could not denied herself the privilege to be a mother and she tried again, she got pregnant with TWINS! She found a Doctor that helped her fix her problem and she had 2 beautiful boys and just a few months ago she had another one. I had a miscarriage myself early on and I cried for days and days until a felt a little better. Months went by and felt ready again and now we have a beautiful baby boy. You look so pretty in your picture, you are going to be a pretty Mom to a cute little baby, cry all you have to cry, do something to help you heal (not forget, because us Moms just can’t) and try again, find a Doctor that you can trust, but don’t stop yourself from being a Mom again, it is really the best thing in the world

We had a miscarriage in 1980, a healthy Boy was born in 1985, and a sweet Girl in 1987, due to a medical reason we had a hysterectomy following the birth.

Firstly, my sincere condolances on your loss.
Never give up hope. Make sure you are in good health and checked out by your specialist before you try to conceive.
Take a positive stance, each healthy, avoid smoking, regular exercise with ease. Have regular check up with your midwife or doctor and do not be afraid to ask questions. Did your doctor take blood tests? Was a reason for the stillbirth given specifically and were you full term?
Good luck with your next pregnancy and never never give up hope.
Join a group with other mums - you will be blessed again.

It's very possible. Get good prenatal care. You should be fine. This happened to my sister and she had a healthy baby the 2nd time. Good luck. Also, I am a nurse and have seen many women have healthy babies after miscarriages and lots of other problems. Talk to your doctor.
Wish you the best.

i lost a baby girl-16 wks pregnant, February 2003.--gave birth to a healthy 8p 15oz baby girl November 2003. the hardest part i think is waiting for the baby to move. at least when you feel it you know it is still okay. losing a baby is the hardest thing a parent can go through, so just take it easy and wait till your ready. good luck to you.
