could my 12 year old watch it?

Because ,they show people having sex with each other in the movie. More than once. Also,they portray it in a" we all share" or "this one is mine" sort of way, in one scene Whether to show that to your 12 yr old, is up to you. I wouldn't. I would only let him see a sexual film that deals with love ,caring ,and relationships. Like they show on lifetime.

It's no big deal for a 12 year old. There is some violence a little nudity who cares its nothing a 12 year old hasn't seen already. Let him watch it.

I don't think it's appreciate for a 12 yr old. My husband refused to watch and went out to get pizza. I liked it, but I'm more open then he is. I'd definitely say NO!

They show a few breasts but I don't think it's anything too graphic. Nothing like hardcore porn or anything like that. The love scene between Jude and Nicole isn't even that graphic. I'd let my 12-year-old watch it. It's a really good movie.

I have never seen it, but movies are rated for a reason. I suggest that you watch it first without the child and then YOU decide.

the movie deals with wars, people dying, a lover scene within Nicole Kidman and Jude Law, if you believe your son is able to see a movie with lots of blood, killings, battles and a love scene, let him watch it, but watch it with him and explain any doubt your son may have Carl and if you are not sure, watch it first alone and decide if you want youir son to watch this film.

I wouldn't recommend anyone watching it...Personally, I found it boring and confusing, a lot of jumping around. I know that doesn't help, but it's an insiders view!

I think it is rated R because of sex scenes.Here in Australia it is rated M for ages 15 and above.I'd wait till your son is 15 unless you want to teach him the virtue of not being judgemental about people's sexual prefferences.

it has nudity in it my god thats why its rated r kids shoulidnt watch it
