your baby is constantly moving and changing positions until late into pregnancy, when the baby is too big to do cartwheels and back flips. normally its usually the last 4-6 weeks of pregnancy that your baby will settle into his/her birthing position (most time head down). even so, if your baby is breech there is still a possibility of drs. turning it during labor. dont worry yet. ive had 4, and only 1 was a breech due to placenta privia.

Your baby will continue to change positions until 1) the head becomes engaged in the pelvis, or 2) you go into labor. But you're only 24 weeks right now, so you have no need to get worried.
Oh, and some women can guess what the position the baby is in later on because of getting kicked in the ribs and such, but only your doctor or midwife will know for sure.

My baby moved everywhich way and often. He was sometimes in the "birthing position", but didn't drop down into the correct spot this way until sometime in my 7th month.

I don't think the baby will change positions for awhile...maybe around 35 weeks or so. I couldn't tell with either of my children when they changed positions.

i've never been pregnant but i've been told it's late in the pregnancy. i don't know if you notice a difference, i've always been told that their doctor told them they baby had dropped, meaning in the birthing position.
