I am in my third month taking the pill and I am having some bad side-effects (headaches-nausea-light headed)I want to stop taking them now but am not sure if there are any side-effects if you stop in the middle. I can't get in with my gyno for another week and a half so I'm wondering if anyone knows....

If you're having side effects, you generally should stop taking any medication.
To my knowledge there are no negative side effects of stopping the pill at any time during a cycle.
To be sure, call and ask the nurse at your doctors office if its safe to just stop... she should be able to get an answer to you within twenty four hours at most.

The first thing to remember would be that you definitely need to use another good form of Birth Control. IN as much as I know if you stop the pills you will get your period a few days later as if you had taken the whole month's worth of pills.

I wouldn't quit just yet unless you want to get pregnant,.you may need a different type of pill but mayb you could put up with it ten more days. If you can't stand the side effects go to the emergency room and see what they think about it.

yes if your 100% positive that's what you want to do then go ahead, but at least call your physician first to give them the heads up!
and use a back up method from that point on!
