Create a new folder in another place easily accessed from My Pictures for "drag and drop"
Open each folder and drag and drop each photo in the newly opened common folder -- then delete each newly emptied folder-- once all the shots are in the new folder---it can then be easily drug and dropped back into My Pictures or any other place you want it to be !!!
Happy New Year !!!

If you have lots of pictures to move, and don't want to do so one at a time, you could try using a photo editing program.

Picasa might be a great choice for this. You can open them all in a single view easily, select them all, add them to an album, then export the album to a new location. Once that's done, you can destroy the original folders.

You can copy and paste them into one folder. Just right click and copy and then go to the folder you want and right click and select paste.
