Reo Speedwagon,
I often get drunk and listen to them, and cry. . . .

two totally different types of music but both kick a s s , REO is full on rock and roll and Styx is rock with emphasis on drama and introspection I was just listening to some Styx the other day and of course I have REO cds too. sorry its a tie.

REO Speedwagon or Styx, sorry I gotta have both. Now if it was Air Supply or either of them no problem.

Tough choice! I lean toward REO Speedwagon. But from the same era I think Journey was the best.

I'd go with REO too...Kevin Cronin had great tunes like "Ridin' the Storm Out" and "157 Riverside Avenue", and a host of others, way before "Hi Infidelity" made them "famous".
And Styx was only popular when the guitarist/singer Tommy Shaw joined them....before that they weren't squat! (Even though Dennis DeYoung was pretty creative).

guy, this is a tricky one!! Love them the two! yet i assume i'm in straightforward terms a tad partial to Styx. yet i think of REO large, i could have enjoyed to have seen them decrease back interior the day, like 'seventy 9 or '80, oh yeah, I wager that should have been a large prepare!
