I was very little when I saw it...I thought it was one of the Jaws movies...but I don't think it was.
All I remember is that it was Christmas time and there were carollers singing "Noel" and they were by some water. There was a group of people by someone's house I think. I dunno, I could be wrong. It could have been a dream.

I knwo ti was a horror movie. I would say late 70s to mid 80s. Don't know any of the actors.
