Let's hope they have leveled off for awhile.
I feel so sorry for all those people that bought big SUVs and trucks with no idea that the gas prices would get so crazy.
I have a woodburner to supplement the heat in my house--so I can somewhat control my heating gas usage. I drive a GEO Metro--49 miles to the gallon--so I lucked out there also.
But all those people with big vehicles, and little kids to support, jeez, I feel so sorry for them.

$3.00 not a big deal now a days. I don't think it will go above $3.00, if it it does it will be a political stunt and will come down soon to show public that govt. is reacting on gas price, Remember, election is coming closer. I would be surprise if it goes below $2.00

I don't think they will go much under 2.50. I think without some serious intervention by the federal gov we'll be paying over 3 dollars this time next year.
Big oil has no motivation to lower prices.

I think they will go up slightly, then dip down around election time.
