As many teens feel, they think that they are ready that they already know everythign there is to know thats how most teens today feel. but that is not true, they may think that they know everything but they dont. so i would say if ur at an age when u are stabilized and know what u want to do with ur life, when u know that im sure u know that u are old enough to be commited in a relationship. becuase many times when we are young we make mistakes that we cannot fix later on in life, so when u are a little older u will make better choices and eventually less mistakes...good luck happy holidays!

Actually I think the age of 10 or 11 is too young to be commited into a relationship. I knew that thing because there are kids in that age in our country that is pregnant and don't know what to do. Although I'm just 12 yrs. old going to 13, I don't like to go in certain relationships like that and my mother will kill me if she will have to know that I have a boyfriend.

Too young to be committed? Under 14. Committed does not equal sex though, just not "dating" others, *much* older for any sexual activity. Enjoy being a kid!!!

you need to be able to balance your daily life with your love life. school and work shouldn't take up all your time so that you don't have time for your significant other and vice versa. also, you know that cliche saying " you're my other half and with you I'm 100%" or "whole" (something like that), its not all true. yeah you should have a person in your life that exceeds in skills you lack but you should be 100% meaning your life is pretty much together and that other person should be 100% percent so if anything went wrong ( God Forbid) you'd be able to bounce back alot easier.

You should be able to support yourself financially and emotionally...some people are never mature enough...but 20's is a good place...to start...younger than that and you are just commiting your parents...think about it
