if she is also feeling pain in the tip of her shoulder yeah it may be, you should go to the hospital if the pain is really bad it is a sign something may be wrong. At the very least go to the dr tomorrow and have them perform an ultra sound.

First call the doc...but i have had an ectopic pregnancy. I started having light spotting..and the next day really bad pain in my abdomen..on one side. By the time i got to the hospital they had to do surgery to remove the fetus from my tube because it was getting so big it was about to burst. Thats real serious cause you can die once it bursts. Dont wait to find out call the doc and get an ultrasound just to be sure.....this stuff is real serious

Well if she is pregnant, i would definitely get her to the doctor asap if she is having any bleeding and really sharp pains!......
however, with early pregnancy, she will tend to get a lot of sharp cramps and all with her uterus stretching and headaches are normal with all the hormonal changes she is going through! Good Luck! And Congrats on her pregnancy!!!!

go to the doctor! If it is it can rupture and cause permanent damage to her tubes and ovaries.
