Overcome his hate with love and friendship.
If you see he needs help with a paper or other schoolwork, make a suggestion, and leave it at that.
If he needs a ride, or something as simple as a pencil, offer him one. If he refuses, shrug your shoulders and say "Okay"

It is difficult to lose a friendship. I do not know what happened, or how serious it was, so it is difficult to give you advice.
I would suggest you just leave him alone for awhile. Smile when you see him, that's it. If you have a mutual friend, possibly they could help you get these differences patched up.

it depends on wat u did.
there was this one girl that i was bff with her from kindergarten to halfway through 6th grade. then we sort of lost touch and by the end of 6 grade she did something really mean. it wasn't just that that pissed me off. i realized that over the years she took advantage of our friendship and she wasn't a good enough friend. that's when i ended our friendship. then after not talking to her for about 6 months, she apologized a very bad apology. and as much as i thought she didn't deserve it, i gave her a 2nd chance. apparently i shouldn't have. she did something stupid and i stopped talking to her again. it's been about 2 months and i haven't talked to her yet. i don't know if i ever will.

If you were truly freinds then you may just need to allow him/her time to heal. I would back off give the person time, then write a letter and say something like "I would like us to remain freinds however I feel I need to respect your wishes therefore I have backed away. I hope someday you will call me."
Good luck and god bless,

That's kind of a strange joke if it is one. You could ask him if he was joking, but I think this guy has a mental problem and you should not consider him your friend. Just feel sorry for him but avoid him if you can.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Sounds a bit jeolous to me. I'd definitely keep him close till I figured out his motives. And ya know what? No one needs "friends" like this. "Friends" don't avoid each and speak harshly to each other.

Beware! He may be playing an unsconscious game with you to manipulate you somehow.
In any case give him his time and space after you have said that you are sorry.

Your Friend could be competitive, and he /she found you that you are smarter than him / her, so is nature humans instinct to destroy what ever makes them feel less, so they could stay on top of the latter of evolution.

You must have done something really bad for a friend to say something like that. Leave him alone.
