We found in our pond a plastic bag containing a chicken head, a heart, a stomach, a toe, a feather, other parts of the chicken and two candles. Floating on top of the bag were fresh cut flowers.

yes, either that or is a joke. i wouldn't worry, voodoo only works because people believe in it, AND KNOW WHAT IT MEANS, if you don't know forget it. by the way, most voodoo spells are positive ones anyway. even though you may find things that to you are foul(no pun intended), it doesn't mean foul things. one other thing just because it there doesn't mean you involved at all.

Is this a pond on your property? I don't know of anybody - who would want to remember a pet by putting all the parts together in a plastic bag and through it in a pond?! Do people around there keep chickens as pets??? If they do, why wouldn't they bury it like they would a dog or something. I don't know much about voodoo, but it sounds like it could be some form of brujeria (witchcraft). Don't touch the stuff, call the police or animal control, sounds like there is some weirdo living in your area. Good Luck!

Sounds like a rememberance to me.
It's not a terrible thing. To continue the magic and not interrupt it, either bury the bag in a tilled part of the yard in the full moon or burn it.
I wouldn't be too worried about it, your pond just might have been a hot spot to carry the lwa's message back and forth. If it happens again, though, call the police as your yard in being invaded by persons unknown to you. Who knows what may happen when you walk out into the back yard with whomever is out there in the dark.

More than likely, you found a hoodoo bag, not a voodoo bag. There is a difference. Voodoo is actually a religion, while hoodoo is just magic. I know that you might think that I'm just repeating stuff off the skeleton key, but My grandmother practices voodoo, so I know what I'm talking about.

Yes that is a sign of Voodoo but They would have no need of a plastic bag so it has to be someone that is playing a joke. For a plastic bag would be a way to constrict the magic that they were trying to create...............................

I don't *think* so. Perhaps the chicken really died and someone wanted to give it a proper bariel? It could be some sort of spell or something but I don't think it's voodoo.

someone did that intentionally or else the other parts would be there and as far as the candles and flowers....I am not sure....you really need to look it up- there are several websites on this....and I would definately look into it!
