Actually, I am just starting to become more spontaneous. I have always been the structured / planner type but I'm trying to change that. Life is short to be too serious.

I would guess that you don't really lose it. You can always be spontanious if it's in you but once you get older it would depend on if you actually have the strength to or even feel like it.

I don't think you lose spontaneity so much as Gain Wisdom.

Maybe a tiny bit,but it's not the same as when you are younger. It's more like you think things out before jumping up and doing them. You are wiser.

I am so scared that i'll lose my sense of fun when i'm older...

But i think that if we just allow ourselves to be serious when required but maintain a certain element of fun with everything else, we'll be fine...

If you become complacent. an active mind and body remain active. when you live for jeopardy and wheel of fortune, there goes spontaneous living.

It depends on if you have children. With kids, you can`t just decide to up and go somewhere just like that.
If you don`t have kids, do whatever you want. Take advantage of not being responsible for someone else...

yes, for me the trick is to never let my myself become complacent and to always find joy in the little things and to not fear change
