I deleted my Xbox live account I created on the first generation console. Now I have a 360 and would like to reactivate the account to play online. Will I have to create a new account, or is there some way for me to reactivate the account I cancelled? Thanks for your answers and happy holidays.

If you have the same e-mail address when you sign-up for the old account then you can. It's usually better to create a new account, all you need is a e-mail address.

Xbox stay is down. I actually have a relative who works for the workstation Engineers who're think to repair stuff like this, and that they think of this is something severe. it might desire to be down for a week. that's what he advised me.
