Alaska! We have skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, snow machining, snow machine races, the biggest dog sled race (the Iditarod), Furondi Festival in Anchorage, resorts, opera, concerts, and the list goes on and on! Alaska has winter conquered in the fun department!

there are usually some nice freebies at the local college, and some churches try interesting stuff.
Library has nice areas.
