Notre Dame fans are obviously loyal to the point of insanity. . . . especially because they actually believe they deserve to be in a BCS bowl. Notre Dame this year was a creampuff and should have played in some pre christmas bowl. Unfortunately. . . all their self hype resulted in another unwarranted and borderline criminal bid to a BCS bowl. THankfully in 9 days LSU will piss pound them like every other decent team did this year and then hopefully we will no longer need to hear about this overhyped, overated, and underacheiving team. The only Brady QUinn stories we will have to hear then are the "where are they now" stories that will circulate in 4 years when he is regarded as the biggest draft bust since Rick Mirer or Tony Mandarich. He'll probably be selling vacuums door to door, working as a shoe salesman or filling in for the fluff boy on gay pornos!

Notre Dame should be used to losing bowl games. Haven't they lost 8 straight bowl games? Surely 1 more won't make much difference. I'm an LSU fan but I like Brady Quinn more than Troy Smith. How about Colt Brennan QB for Hawaii? Now that boy deserves some serious consideration for the Heisman.

Notre Dame gets undeservedly ranked every year. It's mythmaking at the expense of other teams, up to and including the special treatment it gets from NBC. A name does not a program make, and LSU is going scrub the turf on the Superdome floor with the Irish. I have nothing against the school, only against a mirage.

Well I for one like both LSU and Notre Dame and would like to see them fight it out to a tie-game.
My three College teams are 1. Texas, 2. LSU and Notre Dame. And notice I did not put 2 & 4 that was not a mistake. I like them both the same behind Texas. Guess I will have to flip a coin to see who I am going to root for.

I agree with you all the way. LSU is going to give Norte Dame a whipping of a lifetime. Its about time to of Louisiana's football teams (one college and the other NFL) having a great year.
