You walk around sticking your thumb up or down to everything you hear.

And, you start expecting everyone to call you by your screen name.

The dirty laundry is almost reaching the rafters in the basement. The clean clothes that still need to be folded--and they are all last season's clothing.

You have missed putting your garbage on the curb for garbage day--3 weeks in a row.

You overhear people talking about a show on television, and you cannot remember the last time you actually watched television.

You have a week's worth of coffee cups sitting around your computer monitor.

1. You tell your loved one to leave the food at the door.
2. You either take your laptop or cell phone to the bathroom with you because you feel you missed something.
3. Your pet backs off and goes to the corner.
4. Everyone else is asleep and you're laughing your butt off at the computer.
5. You lost 7 pounds and drank 8 cups of coffee.
6. You neglect that important email from you brother- " Hey, I'm waiting to be picked up, where are you?! "

You look over and see the clock says it's 3 hours past your bed time when you look up after a marathon on here.

You got the gifts from Yahoo for the answers 1 year anniversary (BTW Thanks for the Hat yahoo:-)

You actually chart pretty high on the leaderboard...

There are others, but IE doesn't like it when I have more than 10 tabs open with wikipedia:-)

I am on here 15 hours a day
does that count

and I hear people who are on here a lot get fatassanitis
and when the Internet goes down for any length of time they break out with a rash and cry a lot

The suggested category thing is hilarious :P

And the symptoms:

- You haven't eaten in God knows how long.
- You wait for Yahoo's coffee breaks to take a break yourself.
- You tilt your head to the side when you smile.
- You know every single member on Y!A
- All you can do is ask questions or answer.
- You don't really have time for school anymore... or family or friends or the bathroom or the shower or etc. etc. etc.

I don't know. I just quit an eBay addiction cold turkey. I wasn't spending enough time with my family. Thought about it all day during work. Brought my laptop with me to work just so I could check it out during lunch, didn't pay some bills. I have a hell of a wardrobe now, but I am so grateful I stopped it.

I would suggest you are asking the wrong crowd, we might all be addicted to Yahoo Answers, that is why we are here. Maybe ask a normal person, and you might not find many readers on this forum.
