Several years ago an American teenager was publicly flogged in Singapore for putting graffiti somewhere in that city. It is a criminal offense there and they are really tough on criminals, so you probably won't find too much of it if any there.
It's also against the law there to chew gum!

I think that it is illegal to do in Singapore.
