This sounds like she's passing a kidney stone. Blood in the urine is always abnormal, and if she has back pain and nausea; she has stones. I've had them twice, and know where she's coming from. I'm also a registered nurse. Get her to the hospital and they will do a CT scan of her kidneys and diagnose the problem. Tell her not to wait, because it can be very serious if she's unable to pass them on her own. Good luck and prayers!

Bladder infection is only one possibility. If you don't want to lose her.... get her to a doctor ASAP! Blood in the urine or stool can be a symptom of a serious problem. It may also be a simple infection requiring an antibiotic. I would not take that chance.

Best Wishes,

Sue

If you don't want to lose her then take her to the doctor now! The best thing i can say is something might be wrong with her stool, or maybe her bladder. Blood might be getting into her bladder and it is mixing around with her urine. Good luck! Best wishes!

if she is prescribed an antibiotic please do make sure to go on the web and find out what the adverse effects are as soon as you find out what it is, and tell her to watch for those. some antibiotics can make you extremely sick also
