I'll usually give a civil listen to anyone's opinion, provided they aren't talking total bilge. You're right about the availability of correct answers. Most of the questions on here are just opinion polls.

it usually can't hurt to listen but I think it is best to take opinions with a grain of salt

i try to be open minded and reasonable with others I'm always open to hearing someone elses view on something
