People are underestimate Iverson as a player and person. He 6 feet plays hurt average 30 points 7 assists and 3 steals a game. Plays his heart out every game and is a 8 time all-star. He has the highest careers scoring average since jordan at 28 points for his career. I mean dude is a top 5 nba player a difference maker. Once they get carmelo anthony back the nuggets will be serious contender.
Starting five
C marcus camby
Sf carmelo anthony
pf reggie evans,NENE hilario
sg j.r smith
sg allen iverson
bench earl boykins, demarr johnson.najera, coach george karl
They can score and run with the best out west. They are stronger than dallas and the lakers. The best two teams out west is spurs and the suns. However denver is can play a 7 game series and possibly beat these teams now cause they have two guys that can hit 40 points a night

No.
First of all, he's not that great of a team player. Secondly, there's too much competition in the west for the Nuggets to even reach the NBA Finals. Thirdly, the Nuggets aren't that great of a team either. They have Carmelo, I'll give them that but when it comes to chemistry and tactics, they're just average. I don't see them beating the Suns, the Spurs, the Mavs, the Jazz or even the Lakers. I don't know what Allen Iverson was thinking when he said that he wants to win a championship, because he's not getting to it with the Nuggets. If he stays with the Nuggets for the rest of his carrer, he's probably going to retire without a ring.

Yes. This season's chances are low because there are too many competitors (Jazz, Spurs, Mavs, Suns). However, I think they will make a serious run into the playoffs possibly into the Second Round or the West Finals. Next season, they will have a much better chance because AI and the Nuggets will have better Chemistry, Dirk and Duncan's teams will be a year older, and Denver will get back a healthy Kenyon Martin. AI will only help the Nuggets because he can pass and shoot. Melo is improving as a great foward who can not just score, but also grab rebounds.

I agree with you. They'll go deep but not even make it into the championship.
When it comes playoff time and the Spurs and the Eastern conference are playing slow it down - tough D. The Nuggets won't hang with their lack of D.
And their uptempo style is easily matched by Dallas and Phoenix.

Definitely...The Nuggets have 2 fierce players that can easily score 40-50 points per game. All that's required is teamwork!

by way of actuality of path in actuality putting sturdy human beings at a similar time isn't a distinctive sign of success. it may help yet a collection this is already trusting of yet another and that has grown at a similar time will virtually consistently beat a collection with out chemistry yet greater useful skills. basketball is a collection interest...if the group isn't tight-knit then the sport enthusiasts somewhat do now no longer matter.

it will be real tough to get through the western conference with the spurs, mavericks, and the suns in the hunt as well,,those 3 teams are explosive and can run with any team,, would love to see it ,,but this year will most likely be the same for them as for the clippers of last year.
