The C600 series used a standard size 2 1/2 inch laptop drive with IDE connector. You should be able to get one from the Dell web site. Also available in generic models. The Dell C series uses an adaptor that attaches to the back of the hard drive to make it fit the connector in the laptop. We will need to pull that off the old drive and put it on the new one if you go generic.

Other then that, two screws to take the plastic front off the old drive and move it to th new one.

somewhat any 2.5 no longer easypersistent will artwork basically make certain which you do pull the connector from the returned of the uniquepersistent (gently pry it right this moment off) and mount it over the pins on the newpersistent. be careful - the pins are flimsy and honestly bent or broken. additionally shop the no longer easypersistent caddy if it has one.
