I just got a new ipod for the holidays and its an Ipod Nano. I had lost my old one (long story), and it was a regular apple ipod. It was larger and had its own cord to plug into the wall and charge. When I plugged it into the computer when itunes was up the songs would autmatically download onto it within seconds. Now with the nano when you plug it into the computer that is also how it charges. Well it's fully charged and still not downloading the songs off of Itunes. No songs are listed in the Ipod. Plz tell me what I can do to get my songs on the Nano!!

Get iTunes 7 from www.itunes.com so that these instructions will be as clear as possible (that is the latest version.) Open iTunes, Click on your iPod from the devices menu in the left hand column, look for a check box in the middle of the screen below the picture of your iPod that says "Manually Manage Music" you want this box unselected so that iTunes automaticlly puts all the songs from your iTunes library onto your iPod. Hope this helps, Brodster

you plug your nano in to the comp and open itunes. If it is not on automatic sync which it probably won't be you just drag all the songs onto your nano icon.

i desire to propose AVCWare iPod to iPod/workstation/iTunes pass which could pass music, video, playlist, pictures from workstation to iPod, iPod to workstation, iPod to iPod without dropping something. wish it enables!
