If the knob has a little hole in the center of it, there's a metal L-shaped "key" that should open it. Do you have a junk drawer or a utility area where things like that might be stored?

If you can't find it, try something that will go into the hole - I'm thinking a straightened wire coat hanger, or maybe the cartridge of a ball point pen...then wiggle it and try to jiggle the lock open.

That's all I can think of. Sorry.

This actually shouldn't be difficult. Normally a bedroom door has what's called a privacy lock on it, which means it can be locked from inside the room. However, it does not require a key to unlock from outside the room.

The outside handle of this type of lock will have a small hole in it. If this is a round hole, then insert something like a small Phillips head screwdriver, or straighten out the end of a coat hanger or even a paperclip. Just push it straight in to unlock the door. You shouldn't have to push very hard.

If however, the small hole is a slot, then use a screw driver the way you would a key: Insert the flat end of a regular screwdriver in the hole, and turn, as you would a key, probably clockwise (top to the right) to unlock the door.

If there is no hole (unlikely), then slipping a credit card between the door and frame to push the latch back may be an option.

Most interior doors are hung so that they swing into the room, which means the hinge pins are on the inside of the room. In the unlikely envent that your door swings out or towards you (you can see the knuckle of the hinges), you may be able to remove the hinge pins, which would allow you to pull the door out of the opening.

if the door is locked from inside the bedroom and the lock is a one way lock on the handle, where there is a button to lock it on one side and a small hole in the middle of the handle on the other side. Take a thin knitting needle or other thin object, grasp the door handle firmly and slide the needle into the hole straight in. When it hits the other side of the handle, push it in and turn the knob - the door should open.
this only works with those types of one way locks - if it's a keyed lock, you will need a lock smith if you haven't got a key and you don't wan't to damage the door.
If it's a bolt or sliding chain lock, that's another storey again.

I have also opened a door by un screwing the handle and disassembling the knob, but again, only can be done if the screws are showing.

Difficult to answer without knowing what type of lock.

If it is a simple interior lock (there would just be a hole on the outside handle), use a paperclip that is stretched out and then bent in half. Wiggle it in the hole and try to feel it push against the interior. (sorry...it is hard to describe)

If it is a regular lock, like you would find on an exterior door, you can either force the jamb, or sacrifice the lock and handle by taking a hammer to the knob and manually opening the latch.

Most inside doors have small round opening in the middle of the knob.

Unbend a wire coat hand and straighten out about 3 inches on one end.

Insert the end in the hole. Keep it straight. there is a small circular plate sraight in from the hole.

You want the wire to press in on that plate. I may slip off the first few times. While the plate is pressed in. Turn the knob and the door should open.

Ok first of off, if it does not need a key to unlock, some have a small hole in the knob, if yours does, use a wire hanger, Straighten out the hook so you can stick it in the hole and either push , the lock open or fiddle around to try and unlock it.... or if the hinges are on the outside of the door , push the pins up from the bottom of the hinge to remove pin, door will fall off in your hands so becareful...Good Luck

some of the bedroom doors that dont have a key to open if you look to the side of the knob but on the door knob u can take a butter knife and turn a little hole/circle thingy and it will pop it open -
