Tough question. Next time include a few more facts, but I'll give it a shot. In a calm moment, ask for your parents' reasons. Do not argue with them. At that moment, your job is to listen. They will respect you more for remaining calm. Then when you are alone, examine your heart with an unflinching eye. Are you with him because he's cute? popular? rich? bosses you around? he 'needs' you? of all his girlfriends, you are his favorite? has a great car? You might be startled by what you find. Now take both viewpoints and compare it to his good qualities. Which weighs more: breaking up or fighting with your parents? I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Good Luck...

Can't give you an answer because you are not giving your age, you don't say why your parents don't like him/her. Do you love this person because your parents don't like him/her? Would this person, if in same situation fight for you or break up with you?

most of the time parents have already gone through it and are only trying to help you out of a potential problem that could end up hurting you...so listen to them and think deeply of the wisdom they are giving you, BUT you do not have to follow their advice all the time....and by this time in your life you should have a lot of common sense of your own..so use it...follow your heart, but use ALL the information you have to make your decision...and DO NOT FIGHT with family, family is FAMILY, and life is way to short to go through this, calmly tell them that your old enough to make your own decisions with all of their expertise they have taught you in life ( makes them feel good!) you need to learn to do this and not make anyone mad or hurt.YES very tough to do, but just do it..
and me. I would go with my heart and most likely stay with my girl..
good luck

that depends on your age. If you are a minor living in your parents' home, then it would be a good idea to listen to them. Maybe you could ask your parents just what they do not like about that person so that you could have a ::calm:: discussion with them.

Well if you're close to your parents they must have a reason why they don't like her or him. But after they express their concerns, thank then for their opinion think about what they said & do what your heart tells you to do

Personal experience here...If you believe in this person in the deepest part of your soul...FIGHT FOR THEM! But if your unsure at all maybe you should slow it down. I fought for my guy, no one in my family liked him. But I knew he was for me and he was a great guy. We have been married for 22 years and I love him as much now as I ever did. BTW... my family loves him now too!!!

Parents are pretty smart sometimes. They've had experiences we haven't had yet. Your best bet is to talk to your parents and figure out why they don't approve.

Do as your mommy and Daddy tell you sonny. Maybe in 20 years
time you'll learn to think for yourself.

Depends. How old you are, do you still live at home, etc. etc., etc. You may not really have a choice.
Too much missing information.
