Diabetic adolescents do sometimes have problems with their periods being irregular, meaning maybe a couple to three weeks variation, depending on their medication. As far as the discharge--any greenish discharge usually indicates Bacterial Vaginosis. She needs to see a gynecologist, have this diagnosed and treated with the proper medication. She also needs to discuss the possibilities of birth control (even though she's a virgin, and hopefully wishes to remain one). Birth control helps to regulate periods in young women having problems. Hope this helps.

Well I am the exact same way when it comes to my annual period. Right down ti the weird colored stains. For me though it is the cauase of a genetic mutation problem that my sister and I have passed down from my fathers side of the family. TThough there are time when I will have them more than once a year. I just really do not pay attention to it because it is normal in my family.

Go to the doctors.

She should see her doctor and discuss this very openly. I doubt it is the diabetes. But with the greenish-yellowish stains..... I am concerned about infection or other problem with her reproductive system.

See a gynecologist.

i dont think its because of having diabetes. some girls have irregular mentrual cycle especially during first year of menstration but become regular in succeding year. if they dont become regular then there must be a hormonal abnormality. but having this greenish yellowih stains, i think its another problem. she should visit her doctor as early as possible to correct whatever problem it is.the doctor will probably ask for a laboratory examination on the discharges.

this maybe oligomenorrhea,it's when ur period is regular and too much infrequent, and about the disgarge i think it's a vaginal or urinary tract infection, and u have to put to ur mind that being diabetic makes her body less defensive to infections....She should seek medical help.....
