People always go 'Don't change okay?' when they're in their early teens because of what they see. But inevitably, EVERYONE will change as they grow up. It has to be - who you are as a teen will not lead you to success in the mature world and those that don't change lose.
Also, almost everyone on earth has no idea who they are. The person least understood most of the time, is us rather than others. People strive to figure this out, and sadly some wont ever do so. So, if you or your friend changes, just let it be, you may cross again in the future but for now 'bff' isnt the thing to be. If you dont mesh with her, youll prolly end up fighting so its best you let it be now as it is.

First relax! Now:
'Sounds like you and your BFF are growing up and you guys are drifting apart. It's tough losing a friendship you've had for a long time. But that's just how life goes.
Slowly do things on your own, there's no need to tell each other, "Let's not be friends anymore." That'll just cause pain from not being able to save the friendship.
Talk to your best friend. Relax, this happens to other people too-you're not the only one who feels like this. :)
Good luck!

Hi Diana.l
I totally know what u feel like. ur moms rite tho. i had a friend...(and keyword *HAD*) , she is only 1 yeer older than me..and she got into a whole different world. if ur bff is smoking, drinking,( at the wrong age) wearing all gothic clothing, is starting to be in the popular "gang" or ne other gang...then...im sorry. u might lose her. BUT if you phone her or talk to her somehow and get her out of these things...then ur friendship is saved.
PS
if ur like older than 12(my age) u might be smoking or drinkikng. i dont meen to offend u im just saying if ur my age or younger ,then watch out.
Good Luk..i hope ur friendshp is saved.
Happy Early New Year

I don't think its a phase if shes 10th grade or up. By that time you've pretty much got your personality in line. In middle school, shoot, I year I was rolling around in the mud, the next I was wearing 3-inch heels.

Maybe you guys should start hanging out eith different people and hang out with each other occassionally. If you hang out with someone a lot, you tend to get tired of them. Sometimes doing things with other people will make your friendship grow better.

it's normal for your interests to change over the years, but you don't have to have EVERYTHING in common. tell her how you feel and assure her that it's nothing personal. she may be hurt, but at least you won't regret it later. then talk to some people who will be fun to have around and who share more of your interests.

Talk to her because she might be able 2 do something. she might feel the same way and as long as u guys know how u feel, you will be able to deal and fix it.
