Why would you take health advice from a "family friend"? Are they an oncologist? Are they even a doctor? Are they familiar with all the details of your mothers medical condition? There is absolutely no role for herbal therapies in the treatment of cervical cancer. If caught at an early enough stage, the cure is with surgery. If testing has shown it has spread beyond the cervix, then more aggressive treatment will be needed. Only your mothers oncologist can advise the best course of action. I'm sorry you are having financial problems because of your mother's health issues, I can only assume you must live in the USA. But trying to save money with useless and unproven treatments is not very cost effective or sensible, as after failing on the herbs, your mothers' medical treatment will be more expensive and invasive. I also concur that Dr Mercola is a complete quack, and advice from his website cannot be trusted.

do research and educate yourself well concerning your disease. know what type of cancer. look at your lifestyle. what are you eating, drinking. do u smoke. change your habits now. you cannot live without your kidneys and dialysis ( a machine that removes impurities like the action of your kidney). you want to live as healthy as you can. good luck., may God bless you and your family through your healing process.
