How do I connect a computer to two internet connections at the same time so the internet is twice as fast. Since I can get DSL and cable I thought it might be fun to get both.

First of ALL it's not going to be twice as fast. People never seem to understand this. The latency and response time of the connections will not change. The bandwidth will double, and allow you to download large files faster, but the underlying connections will be the same speed. So, you won't surf the internet faster. It takes about one minute to set this up in Windows once both connections are properly installed.

Open the Network Connections Folder. Highlight both of the properly installed network connections, right click the mouse on the connections and choose bridge network connections. Windows will bridge them automatically, and take care of the routing and bandwidth between the two. It will also handle failover between the connections.

Other options are to buy a nice router like a Cisco or a SonicWall but you last time I looked it started at $5000 to get one that has dual wan ports.

waste of money also...to utilize all that bandwidth for downloading you would need a SCSI Raid or an equivalent setup to take the load off the local hard drive.
