Well songs have those little tentacles on them and they are very difficult to "unstick". You may want to try peanut butter. Rub about a teaspoon on the stuck area and massage it in. The song will then get hungry and break free to go have a snack. If it is an Elvis song you may want to mix the Peanut Butter with a little banana too.

the more you try to get the song un-stuck, the more persistent it is. For best results, consciously focus on the tune to a different song that you don't really know all the words to. That song will stick in your head for a shorter time since you aren't singing all the words.

Usually, I'll get a song stuck in my head if I don't listen to it all the way through. If that happens, I'll listen to the song all the way through one time and that almost always gets it out.

Don't feel bad.....me too....I am in the same boat....I finished school long ago...but music never left my head....I bought a 600 watt system last year that will actually jar my windows in my house......and it plays mostly classic rock....Rap.......hip hop....

No, don't stop listening to music, it is a good part of life.....lol....just try to concentrate on that next test in front of you instead of what you heard on the way to class....lol.....

When i'm in school, i drift off with the sound of my favorite song playing in my head. I just try to hum to myself( not when the teacher is talking) untill i can't hear the song(do not hum songs, please) anymore. Try to use something loud like a blender or a vaccum( not a radio).
Happy holidays!

Just keep singing it over and over and over and over in your head. It usually helps if you hear the actual song, like, on the radio or tv or something. Eventually it pops out of your head as quick as it pops in.

Listening to the song can help.
Or try writing out the lyrics. If you don't know them all, just write the ones you know. I found that helped during college.
