how do i connect my ps2 slim to the internet?

i pluged the etharnet cable in but it doesnt seem to work

OK,if u have the Internet CD which came with the PS2 OK,just enter the IP address and other numbers in order like the pc,the names
not the same but the numbers r the same.
if u dont have the cd like me,put any game support online play and choose online play it will show u agreement,just press "i accept" the game will check ur ps2 memory card and will say "no connection setting found" or something like that choose make new connection the ps2 will go out of the game then go step by step in the setting(enter the numbers in the same order)then when finish the ps2 will make a test for connection.thats alll what i did.
