because, especially as you can see here, lots of liberals just dont get it. approval and poltical correctness doesnt mean right.
character does matter
lying under oath is still lying regardless of the reason
i know what is...is
the oval office if for politcal business not the transver of sexual favors
i dont give a rats rear if you feel my pain you need to stop confiscatory taxes and return more of what i legitimately earn
when your wife cant figure out why 937 files got into her closet and gets off scott free and people of the opposing party went to jail for years due to the possesion of one..something is horribly wrong with the system.
breaking a promise to the nations elderly that was in effect for over fifty years with the ultimate taxation of social securty is not about family values...its shameful behavior.
any welfare transfer payment such as the health care fiasco, on a national level is not only stupid but wasteful..if the govt cant take care of their own affairs, they surely cant maintain the health system
simple life principles but almost impossible for any liberal to understand. bottom line..he surely is the worst president this coutnry produced and isnt worth the title...
popularity isnt the issue here...effectiveness and character are and he had neither.

Its like being knighted in England. Its a title that sticks with a person. They are usually referred to as "Former president," though.

Traditionally, all former U.S. Presidents are honored with the title of "President". It's a sign of respect, one which Bill Clinton richly deserves, who - even after being impeached - left office with a 65% approval rating. Bush's approval rating lingers just around 30%. -RKO-

Because, despite the rhetoric of the right wing, he was one of the greatest and most brilliant presidents to ever serve this country...he was a two term President who ended his presidency with a 64% approval rating...reminder, George Bush's approval is now hovering at around 30%...

Any president who's still alive gets the same treatment, even Bush, who doesn't really deserve the honor.
