I'll try to answer your question the best way possible.
I do feel like every year gets shorter the older I get.I do regret things in my life all the time, wether it be things I've said wrong to people in the past,or things I've done wrong to people.I've even done things wrong to myself and Im sure you will too if you havent already.
life is like diveing into the deep dangerous ocean and takeing a chance that you'll swim the right way without drowning or getting killed by some shark.I hope you understand my symbolism.
As I get older I begain to relize that the only real way to start liveing life to the fullest is by learning from fumbleing and getting back up again even when everyone is kicking you while you're down.Always keep your head up.
I've had people die right in front of me before and tried to save their life and couldn't .I regreted it and felt real bad. I delt with the feeling in my own way.I had another person die in front of me and didn't try to do anything about it and I regret that too.
Life is about regrets and we are all better off learning from the wrong we've done.It can't be avoided.
If you try to avoid regretting things all your life, you may end up regretting the fact that you never learned how to deal with regretting. As silly as that sounds it has truth to it.
I feel I haven't lived life to the fullest still and i may be regretting that I haven't done more then I know i could be.
But i just chill and kick back and enjoy the ride threw this short stage Im going threw.I know that im not the only one thats gonna die in life.Everyone is gonna.Enjoy this reality of what you see as liveing short or long and the most important thing is to forgive someone for doing wrong and let it pass. Most important forgive yourself for things you may regret .....if you don't....you could regret it. :)

Interesting, I suddenly realized this yesterday when everything my parents told me was starting to happen and I was taking on a new perspective.
My dad is 72 years old and my mom is 68. I'm 29 turning 30 in March '07 and if I have a kid now, which won't happen, my dad will be 92 when my kid is 20!
I also realize that i have taken a very different career path and now I'm fully self employed. I think crap, if I go this route now, it'll get harder and harder to work at a big company. My brother in law just quit his job as a lawyer and doesn't want to go back to law. He's 40 and has three kids. What do you do then? He pretty much only has about 15-20 years left to work...whcih goes by so quickly because it's been 10+ years since I graduated from high school and I have no idea where the time went.
Anyhow, long story short, I don't regret anything. I have faith that everything will work out. I want to be nice to people and live life to the fullest because it ends very quickly. So don't sweat the small stuff!

This is so sad. It breaks my heart. My Beautiful Daughter has 2 of the most wonderful beautiful children that have different Black fathers. My Daughter is very White. Imagine what I would of lost out on if I would of not accepted her choice of color.I love those 2 children as much as I loved my own kids. They are the joy of my middle age. I wish I could show you pictures of how beautiful they are. You sound like a mean little man and don't deserve to have a daughter let alone grandchildren anyway. She is better off without you and your mean snobby friends and family. She should disown you publicly for being an ****** and distance herself. I always believed the Blacks were exaggerating about the prejudices in America. Guess I was wrong. I just shake my head at people like you because your type disgust me.You are the kind of people that will hurt my Grandchildren and for that I detest you!!!!!

Well, if you're life is full of responsibilities that you enjoy, and fun, and adventure, then some people may feel that life is too short.
If it is miserable, it's not.
If you feel life is too short, you're already doing enough. You're already playing a good role in the drama that goes in the world ;-).
Be happy. It's the people who feel , life is too long, is the ones who need to worry.
For e.g
Bill Gates would probably feel, life is too short for him. He may not want to die and give control of everything , because someone else might not do a good job without his leadership.

I live my life with the realty of how short life really is. I deal with it by reminding myself daily how short it is and how a day not enjoyed is a day wasted. You only have so many days and when you waste one they do not come back. I also try to enjoy the people around me and the many beautiful things in life. There is something beautiful in everything and everyone you just have to learn to look for it.

Life is short, so that we make the best of it. If it was long and endless we would be lazy and carless, and never worry because we have forever. Life short is better because it gives us little time so be everything we can be and to do great things, which makes us more determined

Don't pay any mind to anyone, do what ever you want to, regret nothing. I have thought of death quiet a few times and if I'm going to die, which I kind of wished for medical reasons, but now the fact that I didn't die; I think I'm going to be immortal. (And, not in believe in god and you will have ever lasting life)

Well, I hope to live long enough for technology to extend my lifespan much longer than expected...
But seriously, become a seeker of truth, a lover of truth and try to discover the meaning of truth. For me, it is to believe in God as my creator and one beloved and recognize in the person of Baha'u'llah the Manifestation of God and Promised One of all ages. In His teachings I find solace and peace and a pattern not only for my own life to lead but also the reconstruction of the whole human civilization through His principles and administrative order. If there's one thing you should do before you die, it is to investigate Baha'u'llah's teachings.

Yes, life is to short. I live it to the fullest and give thanks to my God everyday.
To live without regret is to live a good life. Always be honest, always do the right thing no matter what, and show understanding and compassion to everyone.
And lastly always forgive, and forgive yourself. That way you will live with no regret.
Shalom
