i've known this guy for 7 years. We were always friends, but last year we were pretty close. We shared a lot of things with each other. Except every once and awhile, he'd do something stupid, like make up a bad joke about me. Then i wouldnt talk to him for while and he'd be apologizing. This year, im not if its even the same guy. He's got a girlfriend, and i dont mind, but its the fact he hangs around a whole different crowd of bratty, money bag people and he never speaks to me, except in one class. My other friend says that he talks to him and he thinks he's changed too, but at least the guy speaks to him! Sometimes the guy im having trouble with goes over to my friend's house and acts like a total punk. Then he'll turn around and act like some basketball pro on our team. I'm having trouble understanding his multiple personalities and should i be his friend anymore?
HELP!

Oh yeah, he has had his ups and downs in the "friendship". He has told Everybody in his family about me and im on his Grandfather's Basketball team. I dont want to mess things up for him because his Grandfather is the best coach ive ever had

I suggest that you remain on a friendly basis with him but at the same time, pull back. Do not invest your time in a friendship that is going nowhere -- and I don't mean it is going nowhere romantically either -- I mean the guy just does not seem to be serious about a true friendship -- casual or close -- so why waste your time? Move on and acquire new friends who validate you, whether they be other boys or girls.

Stay away from him. He is having too many issues and has shown he doesn't care about you. To make a bad joke about you is showing his true feelings for you.
