They are all thieves. You might as well pick one at random. And "best" depends on what you need in a phone company.

Cingular is HORRIBLE!

For awhile, when my husband and I had cingular, you could watch your signal go from 5 bars, to none, to 3, to 1, etc etc, while sitting still. We dropped about EVERY call we had. When we need service, every person told us a different thing, and I got lied to from their service techs so many times, its not even funny. Rollover is their only good feature. Otherwise, their service sucks.

I have Verizon now, hardly ever drop a call. They are somewhat pricey, but the help is decent. My brother has had Sprint for over 2 years now, and loves them. And he's a cheap-o, so their prices must be ok.

I think Cingular is the best company. The best comes with a price though.

i've had most of them. The worst so far was cingular. The best for me is t-mobile because of their low rates and plans. I dont get a lot of dropped calls either.

Verizon is the best. When I go anywhere with friends or family, my phone always works and their phones do not. Now they all my sisters have Verizon and we can talk free. Yahoo!

I'm surprised no one here mentioned Nextel.
