According to their website: Returns Without a Receipt
Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate by mail for the current selling price. Gap stores require valid identification when processing all returns and exchanges without an original receipt."

Doubtful. There are alot of outlet stores that sell damaged merchandise from expensive stores at discounted prices. The damage doesn't even have to be noticeable to the average person, it could be something as small as an uneven seam. However, if you don't have the tags or the receipt, it would be pretty hard to prove that you didn't buy the product at a discounted price and were trying to return it and get the full amount.

no.....They definately won't let you return it for cash and it's very doubtful if they will let you exchange it either. Especially without the receipt or the tag.

You use to could at Wal-Mart...but so many people abused it they stopped. I wouldn't think you could. You'd have to have balls to try though.
