if i delete songs from comp can i keep in itunes if i have manually add on?

It's fine if you manually add your songs, but if you somehow lose the songs from your iPod, which happens to a lot of people, you no longer have the songs available to put them back on your iPod.

You can purchase an external hard drive to hold what you do not have space for.
