I'm like that or was. I used to go through all that until I started stategizing on it. Yesterday, at Xmas gathering my sister was the first one to break tension with a joke. I now sit there calmly and wait for the conversation to come my way. It does and I'm the coolest star. I just pick a place to sit and wait. I get my chance, always do. I don't like to ride, but did it enough to learn that its their insurance not mine. If I'm not in control, I'm not responsible if they act like an idiot. So, no worries for me. You really don't have a serious problem, just getting too emotional over it. Calm down and think about it, you'll adjust. Check out my 360page, no crowds, no cars.

You might have a bit of anxiety related to crowded spaces. But it sounds as if you can control it.
I personally have a problem with bridges. I was a nervous wreck when I had to travel the Mackinac Bridge one Christmas in an ice storm. I had to take hot bath and I didn't want to talk to anyone for over an hour.

I have that problem too.. You Panic attacks, fidgety, Shakes, feeling being attacked and the need to get home, or get out of that place your in..
Yeah, it sounds familiar.. It's a Phobic, ( just don't know the name of it and don't know how to spell it..) But, It's a fear of being in a large crowds.. Then best thing to do, is go out side for a moment until it subsides, or go into a place where it is quiet and relaxing..
Do that until you feel more comfortable going back.. And if you still feel tensed up, go back and stay for awhile, and again until you feel better..
I have to do that too, it helps me.. I hope it helps you too..

~If you aren't in control, you have no control. Do you feel this way in stores as well?
I think you're suffering from a "Panic Disorder." Some choose to call it a "Phobia" and not get treatment for it. Not much you can do if they choose not to get help.
It's VERY TREATABLE though with medication and counseling.
The link below will give you a lot more information than I can on here.
It doesn't mean your crazy, you just have a chemical imbalance. It's very common.
Good luck to you.~

I think you're normal...who wouldn't hate a crowded house on the holidays? I just left one and the 1 1/2 hrs I was there was hellish.
These are just preferences of yours, doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you.
